General Information
Is Lighthouse Festival 18+?
Yes — Lighthouse Festival is a strictly 18+ licensed event. Valid photo ID is required for entry. No exceptions.
Is this a drug-free event?
Yes. Lighthouse Festival is a zero-tolerance, drug-free event. Anyone found in possession of illicit substances will be removed and referred to police.
Are pass-outs allowed?
No. Once you leave the festival site, you cannot re-enter. Please come prepared.
How do I pay for food, drinks, and merch?
All outlets are card-only (PayWave). No cash accepted and no ATMs on site.
Is there free water available?
Yes — free water refill stations are located across the site. Please bring an empty reusable water bottle.
How do I get home safely?
Plan ahead. Arrange a designated driver or safe transport. Follow traffic management and staff instructions when exiting the site.
Will there be security and medical on site?
Yes. Uniformed security, RSA staff, police, and First Aid teams are on site all day. If you feel unsafe or unwell, speak to any staff member immediately.
Where Can I Get Tickets?
Tickets are available online only via official Lighthouse Festival channels.

• Important: There is no box office on site. Please purchase before arrival.
Entry & E-Tickets
• Have ready: Your e-ticket (PDF/mobile wallet) with screen brightness up.
• One barcode per patron: Duplicate barcodes will be denied.
• ID (18+): Current driver licence, passport, or government Proof-of-Age card.
• Bag checks: All patrons/bags are subject to search.
• No pass-outs: If you exit, you cannot re-enter.
Transport, Drop-Off & Parking
• Rideshare/Taxi: Signed drop-off/pick-up zone near the main entry — follow traffic control.
• General parking: Very limited. Expect delays; respect local residents and clearways. There are approximately 250 public parking spaces at Bush Street Reserve and Norah Head Boat Ramp, plus additional surrounding street parking.

• Accessible parking: Limited spots; pre-book required. Display your permit and follow staff directions.
• Don’t drink and drive: Plan a safe trip home.
What Can I Bring?
• Comfortable clothing and footwear for changing coastal weather
• Hat and sunscreen
• Empty reusable water bottle
• A small picnic rug (up to 1.5 m × 1.5 m)
• Low sling/short beach chair (seat height ≤ 25 cm) — chair zones only
• Small bag A4 size or smaller (approx. 30 × 20 cm)
• Valid photo ID
What Can’t I Bring?
• A bad attitude — disrespectful, threatening, or unsafe behaviour = removal
• Alcohol or illicit drugs
• Eskies, picnic baskets, trolleys, or carts
• Glass of any kind, glass jars, metal cutlery
• No outside food
• Tall/standard camp chairs
• Large bags/backpacks (over A4)
• Umbrellas (bring a raincoat/poncho instead)
• Fireworks, flares or fire-twirling gear
• Musical instruments or portable sound systems
• Animals (except registered assistance dogs)
• Professional cameras, drones, or recording equipment
• Weapons or sharp objects
• Any item deemed dangerous by security
Food & Drink
Can I bring my own food?
No outside food. There will be a range of stalls catering to dietary needs, including extensive gluten-free options, plus vegan and dairy-free choices.
Can I bring alcohol?
No. Lighthouse Festival is fully licensed. BYO alcohol is prohibited and will be confiscated.
What drinks are available?
Bars serve beer, cider, wine and soft drinks. Water points at all bar locations.
Accessibility
The site provides wheelchair access, accessible amenities, and an accessible viewing area. Terrain includes grass and uneven ground — choose suitable footwear. Companion Card accepted for carer entry. Accessible parking is limited and must be pre-booked.
First Aid
First Aid operates all day .
• If vehicle access is required for medical reasons, see the Duty Manager at the gate for a supervised solution.
Filming & Photography Notice
By entering, you consent to being photographed/recorded for promotional purposes.
Conditions of Entry (Summary)
All patrons and bags are subject to search. Intoxicated or disruptive patrons may be refused entry or removed without refund. Prohibited items include alcohol, illicit substances, glass, umbrellas, drones, weapons, large bags (over A4), shade structures and professional cameras/recorders. Weather & Heat
Open-air coastal event — proceeds rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe. Bring sun protection, a refillable bottle and a rain poncho (no umbrellas).
Lost & Found
Visit the Info Desk near the entry gate. Unclaimed items after 30 days are donated or handed to police.
